Elephant folio. 112 loose sheets (title sheet, introduction, list of plates and 109 illustrations) in lettered green coarse cloth portfolio with ribbon ties. Spine of portfolio is slightly sun faded else all elements are fine. The plates measure approx. 13 1/2" x 17"
"The plates here are facsimiles of the drawings from the 1922 edition, printed by the Meriden Gravure Company, reproduced in the same size as the originals. Included in this edition are the seven original engravings which Blake completed that were not included in the 1922 edition. This edition represents only the second edition of one of Blake's masterworks, limited here to 1100 copies, 1000 of which were for sale to the public, and 100 of which were for private distribution."
Condition: Very Fine, slight fade to the folio's boards, slight fade to inside paper cover for the loose pages (please see images for details), Very minor bump corners on some of the pages. Colors and images are crisp and in Very Fine Condition.
Size: The plates measure 13 1/2" x 17"
