Macey Co. Barrister Bookcase 3 Stack Quater Saw Oak Stacking Bookcase Dark Finish

Macey co. a contemporary the famous Globe Wernicke furniture maker, who made almost identical furniture pieces as Macey co. (1896 - 1940) ad in 1905 Macey merges with Wernicke Furniture Co. to form Macey–Wernicke Co. and in 1908 name is simplified to The Macey Co.

This stacking bookcase, also called Barrister Bookcase, due to the fact that most lawyers bought these bookcase and bought a new section based on needs when their law books expanded.
Today these bookcases are a great investment, as well as the way to protect and store your book collection and other pieces to be shown off.

**This new new estate has two three stacks, both are Macey but one has a slightly lighter stained oak than the other.

Dark finished quarter saw oak with "S" style. Two hard to find larger boxes, approx. 12 1/4" tall inside and one at 8 1/2" inches.

Size: 34 wide x 12 deep x 49 1/4 inches tall
large box is approx. 12 1/4 inside and smaller box is 8 1/2 inside
Condition: Very fine, glue is stable and very minimal wear to the outside. Some minor wear on the inside of the boxes. Note the backing sheet of the second box separating and will need to repaired or replaced.
