Massacre was Fred Frith Bill Laswell and Fred Maher, the trio had their first release in 1981 and were a supergroup of the avantgarde rock scene. Lead by Fred Frith from the famed English band Henry Cow. Massacre were formed in 1980 with Bill Laswell another leading figure in the avant-garde rock scene in NYC on bass and Fred Maher on drums who worked with Robert Quine and the flyer saying he was in Richard Hell and The Voidoids with Quine being one of the original members.
The band formed and toured from 1980 to 1981 and recored only one record with this lineup.
The show was at JHU, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore MD on Saturday May 9th (1981).
Printed on heavy paper and signed in pencil by Bill Laswell and Fred Maher. I can not confirm signatures, both signed in pencil and not signed the same way.
Size: 8 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches
Condition: fine with fold marks and top left having a small corner bend. The signatures are in pencil and are fine but slightly faded. Bottom right has small edge chip. Please see the images for more details.
