Mid Century Designed Arne Vodder Floating Top Teak Wood Desk with Locking Drawers with Key Circa 1950

Arne Vodder (16 February 1926 – 27 December 2009), the famed Danish Modern designer who was friends and contemporary with Finn Juhl. His style was new and with the concept of drawers with no handles, a style that endured and was adopted by others. 
The desk is a rich and even finished Teak desk with a finish that is almost perfect, makes this desk ready to go in your home office. 
This desk is another one of his styles, the floating top. The desk has the elevated top giving the desk airy look. The compact desk, approx. 27" deep x 57 1/4 long, is both spacious and compact in the knee hole desk. 
The left side has 3 drawers while the the right has one large file cabinet drawer. As you can see the Key is with this desk, the right and lefts side both lock. 
Another great aspect of the desk is the ease in which it is assembled, the pieces lock together, the two section, the left and right drawers lock together via a slide in metal pieces, making the joints sturdy and reliable and an ease for moving. 

Size: 57 1/4" long x 27" deep x 29" tall
Condition: the finish is amazing and almost perfect. A small mark on the finish on the edge of the top in the front. The legs have very light marks from use but the finish on the legs is fine, a simple cleaning will be needed. I have not altered or cleaned the desk in any way.
