Miniature Painting by Francois Dumont Ornate Brass Frame Circa mid 1800s Miss Oakley Maund

A new estate with some great Continental miniature paintings on Ivory.
This one comes in a great cut brass frame, approx. 8" wide x 11 1/2" high. The image is approx. 4" x 6"
The portrait is signed " Dumont", attributed to the artist, Francois Dumont, (1751–1831) was a French painter of portrait miniatures.
As you can see from the photos, I have taken the portrait out of the frame and as you can see it is not original to the frame.
The details and execution of painting style is similar to Francois Dumont.
The cut brass frame is in very good condition with the original convex glass.
