Year: cast in 1923 XXIII
Rookwood made many color variations of their pottery and the bookends of the Raven had mat and high gloss glazes. This glaze is covered with blue and tan mat glazes in a mottled style.  
Marked on the bottom with the Rookwood logo,  2275.

Condition: Uncrazed and in excellent original condition with no cracks or damage to the pottery or glaze. Please see the images provided for more details
