OLIVIER MOURGUE Bouloum chair Designed 1968 Molded Fiberglass Airborne France
OLIVIER MOURGUE( Born 1939 Paris France) designed the wonderful and fun Bouloum chair and is one of the top designers of the 1960's. His fame grew to heights with his Djinn chairs which were used in 2001 A Space Odyssey in 1965.
The Bouloum chair first made by Airborne France and later in a gel coated fiberglass by Arconas since their purchase of Airborne in 1972.
Size: 24 1/2 in. (62.2 cm) high
Cond: Worn areas on the underside, small areas of marks and slight damage on the edges.
NOTE:
I have not cleaned or altered this piece, it has come to me from the client with no cleaning agents or surface cleaning. Due to the original material, certain chemicals can not be used.
