Original Hand Painted Female Medical Chart Circa 1950's Deficiency Chart Medical Arts Building
The Medical Arts Building located on Cathedral and Read Street in Downtown Baltimore housed some of Baltimore Top Doctors and Pharmacist for decades.
Some of my clients might remember me selling the collection of Dr. Stephen Provenza several years ago. This comes from a new client who bought the business and some of the massive amount of items and apothecary memorabilia from Dr. Provenza.
This piece hung in the Medical Arts Building for years and my client saved a lot of the items from his time in the building and the business. Please keep an eye out for more items from this collection.
Hand Painted and Rarer medical chart of a Female, most of these are illustrated with a male.
As you can the image is in the original wood frame and glass. The figure and the organs are hand painted in fine detail and the acetate with writing is over the painting. Please see the images for details.
The year is not know but the figure has a shorter hairs style and is very mod, so circa late 1950's to mid 1960's.
Size:
Condition: Near Fine, Strong Bold Colors in the painting, minor damage to the lower area where the painting has touched the glass and has bubbled, please see the images for details.
**NOTE**
Due the size and the fact the piece is framed behind glass, special shipping or pick up will be needed. Please arrange before pickup or payment to get a shipping quote.
