Prentiss Taylor, the amazing artist who was part of the Harlem Renaissance and was very close with such luminaries of the early 20th century like Gertrude Stein, Langston Hughes along with divisive artist Carl Van Vechten.

Prentiss Taylor was born in Washington DC but gravitated to New York City and aligned and joined the Harlem Renaissance, learning his artistic craft of lithography printing from George C Miller in New York.
Prentiss Taylor’s art is collected in his home town of Washington DC in the prestigious  Georgetown University.

Taylor attended many performances by the distinguished guitarist-lutanist Julian Bream..

Condition: very fine with very faint and light spotting to the paper at the margins. No marks on the image or pencil signature. The paper is hinged at the top with archival hinge on board. Please see the images for more details.
