Prentiss Taylor was born in Washington DC but gravitated to New York City and aligned and joined the Harlem Renaissance, learning his artistic craft of lithography printing from George C Miller in New York.
Prentiss Taylor’s art is collected in his home town of Washington DC in the prestigious Georgetown University.

20 signed, dated impressions on woven paper, initialed and numbered PT CXII B on stone in the lower right corner, 5 artist’ proofs..
Taylor attended many performances by the distinguished guitarist-lutanist Julian Bream..
Condition: very fine with very faint and light spotting to the paper at the margins. No marks on the image or pencil signature. The paper is hinged at the top with archival hinge on board. Please see the images for more details.
