Rare Conant Ball Armchair Russel Wright American Modern Furniture Deco Style 1930's
A very early model of the Russel Wright Arm Chair, circa 1930's in this Art Deco Style.
The later productions have more of flat faced leg design, this one is the thinner legs with wood dowel construction.
Burn mark on the inside stretcher bar, please see the photos.
As in most Conant Ball furniture, the chair is made of solid maple with metal supports on the underside.
"Russel Wright's Art Deco American Modern "blonde" wooden furniture was produced by the Conant-Ball company of Gardner, Massachusetts between 1935 and 1939, and bore the branded mark "American Modern Built by Conant-Ball Co.
Condition: VG with minor bumps. Appears to be original finish but it has been cleaned.
Size: 26" wide x 33" deep x 29" high (9 1/2" high seat)
