Real Photographic Postcard 1918 African American Playing Banjo
A great real photographic postcard of an African American Banjo player.
Being from the 1920's and a large resonator, it appears to be a tenor banjo and looks close to a Bacon Blue Ribbon Style A Model Tenor Banjo which was made into the 1920's.
This fine well dressed gentleman showing off a well inlaid headstock banjo and possibly a Bacon Blue Ribbon.
Dedicated on the bottom right in ink, "Bill" from J. Garfield Carter" Palm Beach Fla. and is date 2-10-18.
Size: approx 3.5 x 5.5 inches
Condition: fine, slight bumped corners. some finger prints on the silver albumen image, Please see images for details
