Hand pained and stenciled on galvanized metal, this Reddy Kilowatt New York Light and Power Company is not a lithographed. Original pieces were lithoed on metal. 
The stencil and painted sign is no less a fantastic piece with great detail and a statement and piece was done has homage to the iconic image that started in the 1920's. His image was used by hundred or Electric Companies and by the 70's he was not used and interest in him declined. His image is still a reminder of time that a lot of older folks still remember well. 
I think he should make a come back!!

The paint and metal appears to be circa 1980's and slightly into the 90s

Condition: light marks on the surface but paint is secure and intact. Light soil from age. Please see the photos for more details.
