Richard Yardley Glass Printing Plate 1940 Sun Magazine Cartoonist Discourtous Driving
Richard Yardley:
"Richard Q. Yardley (1903-1979) was an editorial cartoonist for The Baltimore Sun, Maryland, United States. He joined the Sun in 1923, later replacing Edmund Duffy who left to take a cartoonist position at The Saturday Evening Post. Yardley became known for his distinctive blend of unusual cartooning styles, with Duffy later describing Yardley's work as "truly original."

The glass plate is from a Baltimore Lithograph co. that used glass plates to print on Litho Stones.
The glass is a full sheet and one side will be upside down.
Size: 16" x 24"
Condition: the glass is not cracked or broken, some scratches to the images from age and wear. Please see the images for details.
