Sterling Silver Tea Strainer Lanson ltd. Birmingham England 1942 with Art Deco Woman Handle
A sterling silver tea strainer hallmarked for Birmingham 1942 with the silversmiths mark for Lanson Ltd.
The tea strainer sits on the top of the cup, the small edge fits on the rim of the cup while the tea strains out.
The handle is a subtle, an art deco woman design in a pierced style.
Hallmarked on the back of the handle, anchor, lion and date mark with the marker's stamp.
Reads Sterling Birmingham 1942 Lanson ltd.
Size: measuring 5 3/4" (14.5 cms) x 2 1/4" (6 cms) across the bowl.
Weight: 38.7 grams
Condition: fine, with very slight signs of use, but no breaks or damage to the silver.
