Anni Albers was the wife of Joseph Albers but before that she was a pivotal figure in the art world of Textile. Beginning her education at the Bauhaus she studied the first year, then later being denied access to certain glasses due to her gender. The Bauhaus was a very segregated school with only weaving and textiles being the only classes women could pursue. As she processed through school and a graduate of the Bauhaus she quickly became the figure of respect in the textile world of early 20th C. Modern Art.
A great book with Black and White images along side many color images of her works.

Condition: The binding is fine with minimal signs of use or wear. No writing inside and the pages are crips clean. The cover has light bumps from shelf wear but a slight fade to the cover, edges are light and book was laid on the top causing a slight ghosting. The back is very clean and slight top wrinkle at the top edge. Please see the images for details.
