"The Ethiopian Serenaders was a blackface minstrel troupe from the 1840s. Their first major performance was for John Tyler at the White House in 1844 as part of the "Especial Amusement of the President of the United States, His Family and Friends"


Size: 11 x 14 inches
Condition: The image is very fine with minor soiling to the soft ground lithograph. The black is still bold. The paper edge is chipped but does not effect the amazing image. The pages are intact, but you can see the pages are weakened at the fold. Please see the images for details.
