Victor Vasarely Serigraph of Woven Paper Circa 1960s Zebras Mid Century Op Artist
Victor Vasarely (1906-1997), the Op Artist who is credited for being one of the earliest of the movement did the Zebras is 1937. He expanded and changed the Zebras over the years but his original, shown here but a newer edition, c. 1960s is a Serigraph with signature in plate.
Serigraphed on woven paper, shows the deep rich black and white originally done by silkscreen.
Framed and very nicely displayed in a silver painted frame, the print has not been out of the frame but you can see the printing and richness of the black ink.
Frame Size 25 x 25 1/2 inches
Condition: the frame has very slight marks from age but no damage. The serigraph is in very good condition and appears to have no visible damage. Please see the images for more details.
