White Onyx Pedestal with Chippendale Motif Circa 1890's
A wonderful White Onyx Pedestal.
The white has slight greenish hue, as you can see a white alabaster statue sits on top giving a desired contrast to the both the pedestal and the object.
A Doric Style Pedestal with two Chippendale style bands around the center. The abacus, top slab that sits on top of the pedestal is attached with a metal rod.
Condition: Fine, with slight wear to the top abacus. Small chip on the base, please see pictures for details.
