Zuni Petit Point Native American Cuff Bracelet Circa 1960's Sterling Silver
Zuni Petit point Jewelry began around 1920-1930 and was a unique form of Turquoise Jewelry created by the Zuni Indians. A Petit Point stone is a tiny round, oval, rectangle, pear or square shaped stone hand cut.
This Zuni cuff is circa 1950's-1960's, the estate's aunt travel to the mid west around this time. Her aunt was a woman who was always indipendant and traveled alone and was fearless and remained this way all her life.
I am very happy to have this piece and the next piece for sale.
Zuni Cuff is approx. 1.76 oz. and there are no breaks or turquoise loose or missing.
Silver but not marked with a maker, making this piece a bit earlier.
Size: 2 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" tall. The inside diam. is approx. 2 1/8" and 1 7/8" tall (inside)
Condition: Very good almost perfect. The silver has a very nice patina and no loose stones or breaks. Please see the images for a visual description.
